Dominika Szreder Fard

Dominika S. Fard concentrates her practice in the fields of intellectual property and commercial litigation.  Dominika also advises start-up and mid-sized businesses on formation, commercial transactions, contract matters, joint ventures, and managing growth.

Prior to co-founding Acumen Law Group, Dominika was an associate attorney at a boutique intellectual property firm in Chicago.  Dominika was also associated with Georgia Lawyers for the Arts and the Illinois Lawyers for the Creative Arts.  While at Emory Law, she was a selected member to the merit-based TI:GER Program (Technological Innovation Generating Results), a collaboration between Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory Law School bringing viable new technologies into the marketplace. Prior to law school, Dominika was vice-president of Envisure, Inc., an e-commerce consulting business she co-founded in Seattle, Washington.

Dominika has co-authored a number of articles for industry publications, including the Illinois State Bar Association and DuPage County Bar Association Brief. She is fluent in Polish.
